Bella "Sweet Pea" has been doing just great and settled right in to our home after adoption. She is growing up slowly but surely. When we adopted her in March she weighed 7.5 pounds and is now up to 13 pounds (the vet said she's the perfect size and really muscular...must be all that playing!). She is a quick learner and now knows how to sit, speak, roll over, and most importantly, to quit doing things when we say "No" firmly! :) She loves to play fetch, chew on her bones, hide under the couch and beds, go for car rides, play with her fellow puppy and dog friends, go on walks, AND she even likes to go to the vet (she got a treat while her shots were given and thought it was great!).
Bella is very social and playful and loves to be around lots of people and other puppies/dogs. She is not quite housebroken yet, but is getting closer and we expect she will have it down pat soon enough! She has learned to stand by the door when she needs to go outside and we're working on getting her to speak in addition to this. She's an old pro when it comes to sitting by the door and speaking to get back inside though! She sleeps with us at bedtime now and makes sure to wake us up with lots of kisses if she beats our alarm clock to it. She is very snuggly and lovable and we couldn't be happier with our choice to adopt her!
