Darby is doing well...he's gotten a lot less shy...I think he likes Jen better than me...but hopefully that will change! :) We got him a kennel for when I am at class or Jen is at the hospital working...but he LOVES it! He even goes in it when we are at home! Everyone in the building adores him. Whenever I take him out for a walk or what have you and I am riding the elevator with someone they always say how cute he is! People are shocked to hear that he is 7 years old!
I brought him to my parents’ house for Thanksgiving and my cousins fell in love with him. By the time they left they were asking their parents if they could adopt a rescue dog!
He still gets a bit skittish when you make sudden movements, but Jen and I are really careful about that. He justrecently started liking treats...which is awesome. I give him one when I leave every morning. Jen and I will continue to love and adore him and hopefully we'll see more improvements in the next fewmonths.
