Crosby (Beau) and Nash (Bear) are doing very well. They are such a joy. I am attaching pictures for you. Had their first vet visit last Monday - they were so good and polite with the vet and techs - they all loved them. Beau weighed 44 lbs. and Bear weighed 41 lbs.

With training, they are using the designated areas in the back yard for potty really well. They have "sit" pretty well. We are working on "down" and "stay". Our favorite thing is that they come when called (responding to the kiss sound or hand claps or "boys", and most times, their names with a combination of those cues) and stay near us - I am used to a dog that would go chase bunnies if ever loose.

They have visited with my mom's 5 month old German Wirehair and Jeff's sister's 1 year old Cockapoo and have found that Beau likes to play with each dog while Bear stays near us or likes to give kisses to the children. Both check in with us ("good dog") and then goes back to playing when we say, "go play". Beau enjoys laying in his new kiddie pool, but not Bear. Both enjoyed a nice cooling dip in the nearby swamp when we visited my rental house in Maple Grove. We are heading to the lake this weekend. Can't wait to see them in the water.

Thanks again, Liz for the 2 great pups. Take care. Susan
