Cora (Rave) — November 2010
Hello RPAW folks,
Just wanted you to have an update on Rave, whom we adopted on July 12th. We renamed her Cora, short for Corazon. She settled in quickly to our three-cat household. She was perfect with them, and eventually the cats realized she had no interest in eating them! She is doing well in training classes, despite our lazy efforts at practice. Of course, she has managed to convince us that all these rules we had--off the couch, not allowed in the kitchen, can't be on the bed--were pretty silly. The best thing of all is that she is great off-leash at the huge Minnehaha dog park. She is super social with every single dog, and loves to get sticks and entice the other dogs to play. It's such a joy to watch her bound through the woods and play in the river. We go nearly every day. We definitely feel we were the lucky ones in adopting her! Thank you so much for rescuing her and all you do! Here are a few pictures--the photo-shopped one shows her dreaming of her favorite food.
